Full-Time

Security Officer

Hourly Wage $22.33. Security Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Convention Center facility, property and occupants through security patrol and the monitoring of security systems. The Officer must also provide information and respond to Convention Center guests in a customer service oriented manner. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of security officer experience.

Vice President of Operations

Salary $130,000 or DOE.  This position is responsible for the management and review of day-to-day operations which includes building operations, event services, security and public safety, and capital projects.

Required Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and ten years related experience and/or training; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Requires six to ten years of experience at a senior management level which demonstrates excellent administrative and leadership abilities.

On-Call

On-Call positions do not work a regular schedule; hours will vary from 0-40 hours per week.

Admission Attendant On-Call

Hourly Wage $15.40. This position assists the Event Services Department in successfully fulfilling the needs of our guests, related to accessing the event space, for each event. Typical assignments may include, but are not limited to: greeting guests, providing directions, taking tickets, checking credentials/badges, and providing general information about WSCC and Seattle. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in a service or hospitality environment.

Security Officer On-Call

Hourly Wage $21.42. Security Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Convention Center facility, property and occupants through security patrol and the monitoring of security systems. The Officer must also provide information and respond to Convention Center guests in a customer service oriented manner. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of security officer experience. May work 0-40 hours per week and must be available flexible hours including weekends, evenings and nights.

Set-Up Attendant On-Call

Hourly Wage $19.29. The Set-Up Attendant is responsible for performing the required manual tasks related to event room/area sets, conversions and maintenance. This position requires a high school diploma or GED; and a minimum of 6 months experience in hospitality or event set-up activities is preferred.

Transportation Attendant On-Call

Hourly Wage $16.46.  This position is responsible for checking credentials of exhibitors entering the facility via loading areas, monitor/control traffic flow and the usage of passenger loading zones, respond to inquiries about daily move-in/move-out activities within and around the Convention Center. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in a service or hospitality environment.
